Built To Last Furniture LLC

Jeff LeClaire is a talented furniture maker and owner of Built To Last Furniture. He is a lifelong Oregonian who loves the Pacific Northwest.

He was a marine mechanic for nearly 25 years and did woodworking as a hobby. Recently he decided to make it more than a hobby. He found a home with some acreage and a large woodshop– a perfect place to start a woodworking business and to live a peaceful country life with his wife and three children. Jeff’s dream was soon realized and in 2023 Built To Last Furniture LLC was launched and open for business.

As an animal lover and dog owner who believes in kennel training, Jeff found few options for nice-looking functional kennels. Although he still builds custom furniture for humans, the main focus of his work is on building custom dog crate furniture and kennels that are beautiful as well as functional. The crates/kennels are customizable in size and storage options, depending on the number of dogs that will be using them. Jeff uses pet-friendly finishes and hardware.
